Veterans pursue anti-discrimination legislation

We unravel in foreign fields
each travelling on a one-way ticket,
comforts, skins coiled on the floor
are buried where they fall.
At night we lay in hollow impressions
of those we followed out here to replace
and soon will become. One size fits many,
these so transferable skills.
